Italian world No. 1 Jannik Sinner will not compete in the mixed doubles at the 2025 US Open, the tournament’s media service said.
On Monday, August 18, the player withdrew from the final of the Cincinnati Masters (USA) due to feeling unwell during the first set.
Sinner was due to partner Czech player Kateřina Siniaková in the US Open mixed doubles. They will be replaced by Americans Danielle Collins and Christian Harrison.
The US Open mixed doubles will take place in New York on August 19–20.
