German tennis player Alexander Zverev called on fans to show respect for Serbian player Novak Djokovic after reaching the final of the Australian Open. Recall that Djokovic withdrew from the tournament due to health issues.
After the first set, which Zverev won 7-6, Djokovic decided to stop the match. This allowed the German to advance to the finals of the Australian Open.

The very first thing I want to say is, please guys, don't boo a player when he goes out with injury. Novak Djokovic is somebody that has given this sport for the past 20 years absolutely everything of his life. If he cannot continue a tennis match, it really means that he cannot continue a tennis match. So please, be respectful and really show some love Novak as well.
In the Australian Open final, Zverev will face either American Ben Shelton or Italian Jannik Sinner.
Previously, Djokovic hinted that he might have played his last match at the Australian Open.
