Another motor-racing competition has succumbed to the pandemic related restrictions as the Malaysian Grand Prix which had earlier been scheduled for October got cancelled for the second year in a row. Sepang International Circuit is now longer going to hold the event due to strict quarantine and entry provisions in Malaysia.

Italy’s Misano is now going to handle the Grand Prix event as per the International Motorcycling Federation(FIM). FIM said it now aims to hold the event in Sepang during 2022 as the Asian countries continue to grapple with COVID-19.
