Thirteen Nishiya Momiji wins first ever women's skateboarding Olympics Gold

Nishiya Momiji, who belongs to the host country Japan, has won the maiden Gold medal in the Olympics skateboarding event. Earlier, Yuto Horigome claimed the gold medal in the men's skateboarding.

Momiji finished with a total of 15.26 points and saved her best for “best trick” part of the event. Rayssa Leal from Brazil won the silver while Japan’s Funa Nakayama claimed the bronze.
