Real Madrid tied Chelsea in their first Champions League semi-final. The match in Madrid ended with a score of 1:1 due goals of Christian Pulisic and Karim Benzema.

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel said after the game that he was dissatisfied with the result of the match, given the course of events.

«Unfortunately, they scored from the set. But we didn’t allow the opponent to create anything else. The result of the first half was a little disappointing, so it is important that we remain calm and not lose concentration. By the end of the match, the speed dropped, we lost in aggression, you could see that we got tired and resigned ourselves to a draw,» Tuchel said BT Sport.

The second-leg match between Chelsea and Real Madrid will take place on 5 May at Stamford Bridge in London. Manchester City and PSG are playing in another semi-final: they will begin their journey to Istanbul final on April 28 in Paris.
