Williams racing commits to become climate positive by 2030

With the ongoing climate change and rapidly growing global warming, Formula 1 racing team Williams has taken a pledge to develop into a climate positive and sustainable organization by 2030. The company aims to develop innovative technology to tackle the needs of the current climate. Williams has also sold fridges built through the usage of aerodynamics science.

We wanted to push the envelope and be the pacesetter for sustainability in global motorsport and in the wider automotive industry. F1 has the power to inspire millions of people across the world and, as the pinnacle of so many advanced technologies, F1 has the ability to create technical solutions to help tackle the challenges we face as a planet.
