Women's Football: Chelsea nails seven versus Servette, Juventus and Wolfsburg play a tie

Chelsea 7:0 Servette

During the Women’s Champions League, Chelsea women blew away the Swiss champions Servette in a seven-nil goal-fest. Fran Kirby and Sam Kerr bagged two goals each while Jessie Fleming, Melanie Leupolz, and Guro Reiten had a goal each. With the win, Chelsea jumped to the first position in Group A.

Juventus 2:2 Wolfsburg

Juventus and Wolfsburg played a tie with two goals each. Cristiana Girelli got the first goal at the 22-minute mark but Wolfsburg’s Lena Lattwein had an answer just after three minutes. Tabea Wassmuth nailed a goal at the sixty-five-minute mark for Wolfsburg.

A minute before the injury time, Wolfsburg’s Felicitas Rauch was handed a red card reducing Wolfssburg to ten player lineup. 12 seconds into the injury time, Cristian Girelli cracked a goal from the right side of the box to tie the game. Wolfsburg is now at the second while Juventus is at the third position in the group
