WSL: Defending champions Chelsea add another win

Chelsea women beat Leicester City two-nil to continue their stellar run. At halftime, the game remained scoreless but Chelsea came through late to put the game in the bag. Chelsea has now moved to the second place in the WSL table after the win and is looking in great touch in their bid to defend the title.

It took eighty three minutes for the first goal to occur as Pernile Harder’s left footed shot made its way into the net. Jessie Fleming assisted the first goal. Then Fran Kirby struck four minutes into the stoppage time to put the stamp on the game after receiving a headed pass by Sam Kerr.
