WSL FA: Arsenal routs Manchester City, Chelsea drubs Man-United

Arsenal women pulled off a stunning five-nil win over Manchester City as the latter’s defense broke down. The team jumped out to a two-nil lead at the half thanks to strikes by Vivianne Miedema and Kim Little. Then troubles only mounted for City in the second half as Katie McCabe, Kim Little again, and Leah Williamson poured on fire with three strikes. Manchester City had 65% possession control, more passes than Arsenal with more accuracy but still lost.

Chelsea put Manchester United away since the beginning of the game with Fran Kirby striking at just the two-minute-mark. Then Pernille Harder struck at the twenty-four-minute mark with Samantha Kerr making it three-nil before the half. Alessia Russo made it one-three but then Samanta Kerr scored once again just after three minutes. Drew Spence and Jessie Fleming nailed two more goals to complete a six-one win for Chelsea.
