Yuto Horigome has become the first skateboarder to achieve a gold medal in the Olympics. This is the first time in the Olympics that skateboarding has been involved in the events.
Horigome finished with a total score of 37.18 to secure first place. Meanwhile, Brazilian Kelvin Hoefler finished with the silver, and the USA skateboarder Jagger Eaton acquired a bronze medal.
