Swansea vs Bournemouth: the Hosts to Extend Their Undefeated Streak
Swansea comes to the match in great shape without defeat in eight rounds. In that time, the team won only four games and ended in a draw four times. Swansea occupies 14th place in the standings with 60 points - they are just waiting for the end of the season.
Bournemouth is also going unbeaten series, but it is more modest - four matches, three of which were draws, and only one win. The Cherries are fighting for an EPL spot, being on the second line in the standings with 78 points. Huddersfield is closing in on the bottom, so Bournemouth hasn't secured a place yet.
We give preference to Swansea. In 21 rounds at home, this team has lost only five times - for average squads, that's a terrific record. Plus, they have a good streak at the moment, and Bournemouth has only one win in their past five games.
A possible bet: !X.
Fulham vs Nottingham Forest: The Londoners to Earn Points
Fulham got one foot in the EPL. The Londoners lead the standings with 87 points ahead of second Bournemouth by nine before the round. It's only a miracle they won't win the Championship. After two straight defeats, Fulham didn't let themselves spoil - first, they thrashed Preston 3:0 and then tied with Bournemouth 1:1.
Nottingham Forest also has a good chance of making it to the AEPL, but they will probably have to fight in the playoffs. The Foresters are in the fourth position with 73 points, five points behind the top-2. It should be noted that in the previous six games, Nottingham got five victories and one defeat.
We think we should bet on Fulham. With the support of its fans in 21 matches, it has suffered only four losses. But Nottingham Forest could not win half of their away matches (nine wins in 20).
A possible bet: !X.
Manchester City vs Real Madrid: the Merengues are Underestimated
Manchester City, in the Champions League quarterfinals, got a troublesome opponent - Atletico Madrid. It was clear that it would not be easy for the Citizens. And so it turned out in the end - in the first leg at home they somehow managed to send one goal (1:0). In the return leg they settled for a draw (0:0). Still, there was a result, and that is what's important.
Real Madrid beat reigning Champions League quarterfinalists Chelsea. In London, the Whites won 3:1 due to a hat-trick by Karim Benzema, but in Madrid they lost in the main time (1:3). But in extra time Benzema scored and brought his team a ticket to the semifinals (the score on the sum of the two games 5:4).
Analysts almost buried Real Madrid in the first match. But Manchester City is far from perfect, and the same Liverpool recently defeated the Josep Guardiola's squad in the FA Cup's semifinals. We do not expect total domination by the Citizens, because Real Madrid have much more experience of playing at such high stages of the Champions League. And the factor of Karim Benzema could not be ignored.
A possible bet: an individual total 2 under.
