Spain U19 are a superior team, and I see them brushing aside Denmark U19 in a commanding win. Past meetings between these two sides have resulted in plenty of draws, but Spain U19 have never lost in those five encounters. I expect them to secure a win comfortable win here.

Shelbourne vs. Shamrock Rovers

After clinching their first Ireland Premier Division title since the 2005-06 season last year, Shelbourne have fallen on hard times in the current campaign.

ÍR Reykjavík vs. Leiknir Reykjavík

ÍR Reykjavík's second straight appearance in the 1. Deild this season has gotten off to an impressive start. They are the current leaders in the table and hold a two point cushion over second-placed UMF Njardvík. 

ÍR are one of the two teams in the 1. Deild that have yet to suffer defeat. They are unbeaten in their last seven games heading into this clash (W4, D3). Their recent league match was a 1-1 draw against Thór Akureyri.

Leiknir Reykjavík are one point ahead of the relegation zone and sit in ninth place in the 1. Deild standings. One mistake here could see them drop as low as 11th place.

The Lions did not start the 2024-25 1. Deild season on a positive note as they failed to win in their opening five games (D1, L4). However, they have turned over a new leaf as a 3-1 home win against Völsungur marked their second straight league win.

ÍR Reykjavík have been the better performing team than Leiknir Reykjavík. I see the home team having a better chance at securing a win in this upcoming against rivals Leiknir. So far, they are currently on a four-match winning streak at home and should be able to secure the bagging rights in the Breiðholtsslagurinn derby.
