Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers will look to continue where they started after a 22-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in the opener. In that encounter, the Los Angeles Chargers started with a defeat in the first quarter, ending 3-7. However, the Chargers won 3-0 in the second and third quarters to put them in the lead. In the meantime, it was not until the fourth quarter that the Los Angeles Chargers got things right properly with a 13-3 win. Heading into this game, the Los Angeles Chargers have won two of their last five matches, with one other being a 19-26 win over the Dallas Cowboys. 

Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers will have to show character if they want a win here after a very poor start against the New Orleans Saints. In that game, the Carolina Panthers failed to score in the first and last quarter, conceding 17 and 10 in each quarter. However, despite scoring three quarters in the second quarter, they could not score more than 7 in the third, which was not good enough to see them prove a point. Heading into this game, the Carolina Panthers have lost six of their last seven matches, the lone victory being a 26-31 encounter against the Buffalo Bills.

The Los Angeles Chargers are the clear favorite in this one, but I do not seem to be a fan of them despite having it big against the Las Vegas Raiders in the opener. However, the Carolina Panthers have dominated this fixture in the past, and it is just too tough to write them off in this one. This could be a well-competitive game, but the Panthers can not be written off completely here; hence, I am backing them to close the odds.
