Orleans’ starting playmaker is Jameis Winston, the 1st pick of the 2015 draft, who spent most of his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In two games, Winston has five touchdowns but two interceptions and only 259 yards passing. Also, they got one win and one loss. First, the Saints and Winston were confident in their home field against the Green Bay Packers, 38-3. Then they lost 7-26 on the road to Carolina.
The Saints’ coaching staff did not change during the offseason. Head Sean Payton and offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael won the Super Bowl with New Orleans back in 2009. And defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, who has been with the Saints since 2015.
