Chicago Cubs vs St.Louis Cardinals Prediction: Cardinals will take revenge

In the first game of the series at Wrigley Field, St. Louis failed on defense. Starting pitcher Matthew Libertore pitched only 3.1 innings, allowing as many as four runs. Making their season debuts, Nicholas Wittgren and T.J. McFarland had 3 points on two more.

In the second game of the series, Miles Mikolas will pitch for the Cardinals, 3-3 and a 2.67 ERA in 10 starts.

St. Louis did not particularly expect to win the first game of the series with the Cubs. How else do you explain the relievers not playing this season after replacing starter Liberatore? The Cards would surely do better in the second game.
