Germany plays as one of the main favorites to win the tournament

The EuroBasket 2022 playoffs will be held in Berlin, so Germany simply could not afford to fail in the group stage. And they didn't. Which, understandably, is not easy to do at this tournament.

The rivals met each other at the last major tournament, Tokyo Olympics, where Slovenia confidently defeated Germany in the quarterfinals, 90-71.

After their third-round loss to Bosnia, the Slovenians need to beat the Germans. It will probably work out. After three wins in a row, Germans might as well lose a little concentration. And for Luka Doncic with his team, even the slightest slackness on the part of their opponent could be enough to win.
