Brooklyn Nets vs Chicago Bulls Prediction: Trade deadline looming

The NBA Regular Season is moving towards the area where the trade deadline sends a ripple around the world. As I write this, the trade deadline is less than five hours ago. The deadline has already sent splashes with Brooklyn Nets breaking big news, first, they traded Kyrie Irving and then they traded Kevin Durant, which means that they have now decided to move on to a fresh approach. Anyway, in this game, the Brooklyn Nets are going to take on the Chicago Bulls.

Brooklyn Nets

The new-look Nets will field Spencer Dinwiddie at the One-Guard. Cam Thomas at the two-Guard. Mikal Bridges and Dorian Finney-Smith as two wings and Nic Claxton is in the middle. Cam has scored 40+ points in three straight games so he and Dinwiddie will be the major shot-creators. Bridges and Dorian look like an amazing frontcourt defensive pairing alongside Claxton and defense can be the calling card of Brooklyn in the long run.

Jae Crowder adds to the defense, however, except for Bridges, the frontline scoring looks lean. However, this can be a scenario where Cam Johnson figures in the rotation as a sharpshooter. Will the starting lineup be Dinwiddie-Thomas-Bridges-Johnson-Claxton? The picture will only be clear once the team plays 10+ games or so.

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls can end up pulling some trades before the trade deadline because they need the Point Guard position to be filled. However, it is unclear if the team is planning to stick around with either Lavine or DeRozan long-term. Both players have a lot of value in the market and if there is a time to get the best out of these two from other squads, THIS IS THE TIME. The Bulls have played much better but in all honesty, they are going nowhere. Vucevic, the Center for the squad is also expected to be traded soon. The Bulls may be heading towards a long and hard rebuild.

Expert Betting Tips

The two squads that meet here may be on a pathway that leads to a rebuild. The Nets have built a solid team, to be honest and the long-term potential is immense, especially with Cam Thomas and Mikal Bridges. Anyway, for the sake of predicting, I give the Nets an edge here due to the home-court advantage.
