The Lakers started the summer competition with a tournament in Sacramento, which did not work out well for them - defeats from Miami (90:107) and San Antonio (99:109). After moving to Las Vegas, things went better for the Lakers - the team won two victories, over Golden State (103:96) and Charlotte (93:76). But then the Lakers met with Boston and failed again - 90:95.
Despite losing the game with the Celtics, the Lakers again showed great offense. Max Christie, 24 points, and D'Moi Hodge, 22, were the best scorers.
Memphis
The Grizzlies also started their summer games before Las Vegas. In Salt Lake City, the team of Ukrainian specialist Vitalii Potapenko won two games out of three against Philadelphia (94:92) and Oklahoma (94:86), losing only to Utah (83:98).
In Vegas, Memphis has performed worse so far - only one win in three games. The Grizzlies lost to Cleveland (77:100) and the Los Angeles Clippers (74:83) and beat Chicago 87:80.
Expert Betting Tips
Memphis started the summer with two consecutive victories but then lost momentum. First of all, in terms of offensive efficiency. However, the Grizzlies had to face excellent defenses - Cleveland and the Los Angeles Clippers- especially in the previous two games. The Lakers can't be considered one of those - they have allowed 90+ in all but the problematic Charlotte offense. So Memphis seems to have a good chance to improve their numbers here.
