India vs Australia Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds │22 March, 2023

India will be facing off against Australia in the third and final game of the three-game one-day series being held at MA Chidambaram Stadium. India dominated the test series with the red ball and the first game of the ODI series but Australia bounced back to level up the series 1-1. Who will win the final encounter?

India had been a beast at home with the white ball winning their last two series with a scoreline of 3-0. They won the first game of the series by five wickets. KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja were the stars of the show with their 108-run partnership which saw India home. India started with the bat poorly losing four wickets under 39 runs. India was in deep trouble but these two bailed them out. India was impressive with the bowling though restricting Australia to only 188 runs. India continued their poor performance with the bat in the second game as well after getting out at only 117 runs. The men in blue were not able to play Stark's pacey deliveries. Indian bowlers had nothing to bowl with and Australia won the tie in 11 overs. India will look for a better performance with the bat to save and win the series.

The kangaroos came into the series with great form but were humbled by India in the test series and also in the first game. They have themselves to blame as they were all out for only 188 runs and only Mitchell Marsh scored 81 runs. All other Australian batsmen did not even reach above 20+ runs. Australia started well with the ball with Mitchell taking top order batsman cheaply but Australia was not able to break the Rahul-Jadeja partnership which lead to the defeat. They bounced back with a bang in the second game with good performances with bat and ball. Stark took five wickets to set up the scene. Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh were good with the bat and saw the side home without any trouble. Australia will be looking for the same performances to win the series.

The pitch is well-balanced and will assist pacers in the initial stages. Expect some good balling on this pitch as the two teams are on top of their games. Batsman will look to maximise the dimensions of this pitch. The team will be looking to the field first. Over 280 runs on the board will be a good total to defend for the team batting first. We expect India to come back stronger and grab the series with a win.
