India batted superbly in the first ODI due to some impressive hitting from Sanju Samson and Iyer but they still lost the game by 9 runs. They were again superb in both departments in the second game and the partnership between Iyer and Kishan saw them home. The bowling was impressive by India in the last stages of the game which has been their weakness in recent times. Siraj was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets. India will look to continue their form and win the game and the series in Delhi.

South Africa started the series spectacularly with a win over India. They were however outclassed in the second game with both bat and bowl. They did not get the start they wanted but came alive in the middle overs with a big partnership. When they were all set to get a big score, Siraj spoilt their plans. David Miller and Keshav Maharaj were not able to score freely in the last overs. South Africa will be looking to brush aside this blip and go again in the series finale.
