India is coming off an impressive 8-wicket victory over New Zealand in the second ODI of the series. India clinched the series 2-0 after winning a thrilling encounter by 12 runs in the first ODI. While the first game was pretty even, the second ODI was very one-sided. India was able to restrict New Zealand to only 108 runs. The men in blue can take encouragement and confidence from their recent bowling performances. The batting has also been above par over the course of two games. The team now has the opportunity to clean sweep two back-to-back series at home.

Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj

New Zealand gave a fight to India in the first ODI but their batting order collapsed in the second. The team was not able to put even 150 runs on the board in good batting conditions. Openers seem to be the problem for the men in black. The team is not scoring enough runs and is missing their key players badly. Only three kiwi batsmen were able to get in double digits in the second game. The team will look to build for the upcoming world cup and get the first victory of the tour in Madya Pradesh.

Finn Allen, Devon Conway, Henry Nicholls, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham (c & wk), Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner, Henry Shipley, Lockie Ferguson, Blair Tickner

The pitch will assist batters and a high-scoring game is on the cards. The batters from both sides are in great form and we can witness a run feast. The pitch tends to slow down as the game progresses. Dew can be another factor in the play in the second half of the game. The skippers should be aiming to bowl first and take advantage of due during run chase. We expect India to win and whitewash New Zealand.
