Robert Owen vs. Jason Hogg: Is Hogg Ready for the Upcoming Match?

Exhibition games are always a source of entertainment for the Darts fans. For this year’s World Exhibition season, week 03, Robert Owens and Jason Hogg are to compete in an exhibition game scheduled on 15 February 2022. 

Robert Owen- Carrying Odds in His Favor

The Welsh darts player Robert Owen has been playing in the PDC since 2014. In 2017, Owen successfully made it to the quarterfinals of Dutch Darts Masters, when he lost to Michael Smith 6-5. The player was unfortunately defeated by Rob Cross 6-2 in the 2017 Players Championship Finals. Robert gained victories against Michael Burgoine, Jamie Lewis, Nathan Rafferty, Ian White, and John Part to reach the semifinals of the 2018 UK Open, after which he was taken over by Corey Cadby. In the Modus Darts Online Live League 2021, Owens was able to beat Scott Walters 4-3 and Matthew Campbell 4-3. He has been a part of some amazing games with enough successes to give him confidence for the upcoming match. Having more years of experience and an explicit game of the past, Robert Owen is likely to be at his best on 15 February. 

Jason Hogg- Ready to Resume His Game

A former PDC event player, Jason Hogg, is a Scottish dartist. Before joining PDC in 2013, he was a part of BDO 2011-2013. Jason was a part of a few tournaments in BDO wherein, in 2011, he once reached the quarter-finals of the Granite City Open but lost to Ian White. He participated in the 2014 UK Open and made it till the third round when he beat Wayne Jones 5-3 but was ruled out by Robert Thornton 9-3. Jason won 7 matches, ending with the defeat of Scott MacKenzie 5-2 in the 2015 World Championship. Jason has been a great player for the time he was in the game, which wasn’t very long. The player surely knows his game but doesn’t have any recent plays on the list, which might make the coming game a bit challenging for him.

Since there haven’t been any head-to-head matches in the last five years, the game can be unpredictable. However, as per the previous performance of Robert and Jason during their years of the game, it is possible that Robert Owen will claim victory in the upcoming match.
