Right after winning the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, Spirit players were considered the main favourites for the EWC CS2 championship. But the Dragons failed to live up to expectations, confidently defeating MIBR, in the most one-sided match of the tournament in the Opening Stage, and losing in the quarter-finals to their opponents from G2 Esports.
Boris ‘magixx’ Vorobiev was the leader of the Spirit team in their opening match at EWC, racking up 33 kills on 16 kills. Donk, on the other hand, did not show the power that was expected of him. The weak performance of the young talent was surprising, because he even had only a couple of days off from the game and was clearly in prime form, but he didn't do well on Arabian soil.

At the moment it remains unclear what OG plans to do with its current CS2 roster, as the team is currently unable to face opponents at the dash-1 level. But! Even with this roster, the team continues to have invites to Tier-1 events.
