Of course, this celebration is somewhat overshadowed by the fact that the competition will take place without spectators, whose presence was banned at the very last moment. Nevertheless, the highest level of Dota will flood us very soon, and we will only have to enjoy the long-awaited The International.
Invictus Gaming and Virtus.pro will play each other on October 8 in the group stage of The International 10. Will the Bears have a similarly successful second game day and defeat the formidable Chinese squad?
Invictus Gaming: So far, they are weak
Invictus Gaming played at i-League 2021 Season 2 before the start of The International 10. The team performed well at the tournament and finished in third place there, trailing only Vici Gaming and Team Aster. That’s a good result, but the Chinese team still doesn’t look the best at the year’s main tournament. Yes, Invictus Gaming managed to beat T1, but they can’t call it a landslide victory. The only good moments were when Emo played. The team’s leader in the first two games looked very powerful and brought a lot of possessions. But Virtus.pro play much more powerfully than their first opponents Invictus Gaming and we cannot hope that in such a form, the team will be able to take away at least a map from the Russian team.
Virtus.pro: Everything is cool so far
Virtus.pro, after a good result at ESL One Fall 2021, came to The International. Yes, some might say that the Bears are a team at such a level that any place other than first is considered unsatisfactory. Still, the third place at such a tournament also looks like a great result, especially when you remember that Virtus.pro lost only to Tundra Esports, who were in terrific form, and PSG.LGD can be considered the strongest team in the world at the moment. At The International 10, Virtus.pro are looking great so far. Of course, it remains to see how the guys will perform against OG, but with opponents who are inferior to them in level, guys cope pretty confidently. Even with a slight slippage in the match with Team Undying at the start, the VP easily forgot the confident game after 15 minutes. In the first matches, the team showed a lot of variety of heroes. Their range is extensive, and the team shows everyone that they are ready to play any heroes, and it will be challenging to bash against them. Right now, IG do not look like a formidable force that should give Virtus.pro a lot of trouble.
Expert Betting Tips
Invictus Gaming did not impress the most in their first matches at the tournament, and the Bears look much stronger against them. I don’t think that the Chinese team will give Virtus.pro much trouble. The bookmakers are offering odds of 2.44 for Virtus.pro to win, which looks like a good option.
