Quincy Crew vs Black N Yellow Prediction, Betting Tips & Odds │11 JANUARY, 2022

North America's first DPC league of the 2021/22 season continues on Tuesday, January 11. Quincy Crew and Black N Yellow will meet in the only match of the day in the elite division.

DPC NA 2021/22 Tour 1: Division I is an online Dota 2 tournament from November 30, 2021, to January 22, 2022. The eight strongest teams in the North American region will compete for $205,000. In addition to the cash prizes, the teams compete for two tickets to the majors and the important DPC points needed to qualify for T11.

The most important victory the Quincy Crew could chew out in the past week. We are talking about a victorious game against Undying (2-1), which all but guaranteed the boys top spot in the standings. Theoretically, there is still a chance to avoid going to the majors. Still, for that, you have to throw the rest of the games to Black N Yellow and Evil Geniuses and then play another bad game in the replay. Still, everyone knows very well that Black N Yellow can not beat QC, even if you remember that these opponents have beaten EG not so long ago.

Winning this game will allow QC to pack their bags for the major, but where and when it will be still unknown. The only remaining question is whether the team will qualify for the international tournament in first or second place. Still, this question may go away by itself after the game of their opponents, EG and Undying. Who have these guys beaten in the season apart from Undying? There were four other winning rinks with TOOBASED, 4 Zoomers, Arkosh Gaming and Wildcard Gaming. All the opponents were far from being major contenders, only 4 Zoomers could take away one map from the favourite, but the rest fell apart 0:2. So far, only Undying guys were able to challenge Quincy Crew, but the Immortals couldn't either.

The Quincy Crew was formed in August 2018 by former members of the VGJ.Storm collective after The International 2018. Four of the five team members, along with manager KBBQ and coach Aui_2000, stayed together for the new DPC season. Only UNiVeRsE was a new player on the team, replacing Sneyking. A few weeks later, the team was picked up by Forward Gaming, a new North American organization. The following July, Forward Gaming discontinued the team despite successfully qualifying for The International 2019. The team was ready to play again under the Quincy Crew tag, but the Chinese organization Newbee picked them up for the duration of TI.

After TI 2019, three of the five members of the Newbee line-up teamed up to reform the Quincy Crew. The former SVG captain was also dropped, and Brazilian Lelis was added to the line-up. In November of the same year, the team was acquired by Chaos Esports Club. However, this partnership was relatively short-lived, as the team left the organization again in March 2020. Since then, they have not joined any cybersport organizations, preferring to remain independent.

QC secured a place at The International 2021 by successfully competing in two North American leagues during the DPC 2021 season. At the TI10 tournament itself, unfortunately, the boys showed a weak start to the group stage, from which the team was unable to recover. Although the Americans did make the playoffs, the loser boys could not go far. Their poor play led to a disappointingly early exit from the tournament - in the second round of losers from the OG squad.

The new season was formed around the first and second playing positions, Quinn and YawaR, who were joined by their TI coach KheZu, who would take over as captain. Finally, MiLAN and ponlo rounded out the team, taking up the fourth and fifth positions. Before the new season, this squad didn't play in any tournaments, but they had no one to fear but EG and Undying.

Black N Yellow is the North American team formed for DPC 2021. Remarkably, the project did not shut down after the first DPC cycle in its history failed to work out at all. A constant turnover of players, even maestros like EternaLEnVy and Ryoya came in. Still, even they could not do anything about the team's game, which did not show any serious results.

They finished sixth in the elite division of the North American DPC leagues twice, and their most successful tournament was qualifying for TI10, where they came in fourth.

The new DPC cycle begins with a new Black N Yellow squad. Before the start of the winter league, the following newcomers to the team: Uruguayan free agent Rises, formerly of A-Team and EgoBoys, and Canadian midfielder high_shaggy, who made his competitive debut under the alias Canus Vulpus for Arkosh Gaming. A couple of new opponents have also been unveiled: the Brazilian front four represented by dunha1 has decided to try and conquer North America, having arrived from the hot South American region, and the Canadian front five by Jubei who returned to his home country, the very BNY where the player started this year. One constant thing in this team is third position, American zero, who has been through all the circles of hell with this team.

The guys started the new season sensationally strong. The first game against 4 Zoomers was lost 1:2, but the guys snatched the first map from a pretty tough squad. In the second game of the week, the main sensation happened as Black N Yellow beat Evil Geniuses (2:1) for the first time in history, and it is not a fairy tale, not a present from the Evil geniuses before the New Year... EG lost important points for themselves, while BNY, on the contrary, gained that may already be a guarantee not to drop out of the elite. Although a further success, the boys could not develop and lost to their opponents from Team Undying (0:2), Arkosh Gaming (1:2) and Wildcard Gaming (1:2), which dropped the team to the penultimate line. The season is winding down, and now every game is worth its weight in gold, but I continue to like them more than any other fighter for life in the elite.
