Dyrachyo and his new team have made it to their second grand final in a row! Tundra Esports had a short but sweet run in the BLAST Slam II playoffs, beating Nigma Galaxy 2-1 in the semi-finals and now they're going for their second title in 2025.The team's got a solid approach to draft picks, building on the strengths of players and successful characters in the current spot. Dyrachyo is active all over the map on any characters, bzm gets a lot of farming on the map, 33 looks to pick and balance all the flaws. Whitemon deserves a special mention - Tundra Esports' support bshows incredibly clean play throughout the tournament and contributes a huge impact from the fifth position. He's got a special style on Venomancer, his chiropool has all the meta fives, and he can adjust to any playstyle of an allied kerry.Tundra Esports was waiting for Team Falcons in the finals for a rematch of FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1, but Team 33 proved to be stronger at the time, winning the bo5 with a 0:2 score. But things turned out differently, and in the main match at BLAST Slam II, they got a very convenient opponent. For dyrachyo, it's an extra motivation to win, and for the rest of the team, it's a great opportunity to win the second cup in 2025.
Gladiators
The Gladiators made it to the grand final of BLAST Slam II, which was a pretty sensational result. First, they surprised everyone by topping Group B, and then in the semi-finals, they crushed the Falcons 2:0. This is Watson's first grand final, so it's a great chance to shut the mouths of the doubters in the Dota 2 community, especially after the Dyrachyo incident.
Gaimin Gladiators has finally figured out that they can only play in her own dominant style, to create pressure on the map. She has a special distribution of farming, where the main option in the team should be considered a midrider and offliner, but not a kerry. Watson was good in the series with Team Falcons, but Quinn was the star of the show. Quinn tends to play more on greedy mids and often seals the deal. Ace's play has been a game-changer - there were rumours that the Dane might leave Gaimin Gladiators, and he's clocking the best KDA event of his career in the organisation (7 on average per map).
Since the New Year's Eve showdown, Gladiators have gone up against Tundra Esports three times. Each match was a nail-biter and had a big impact on the tournament grids. At the qualifiers, Tundra Esports stopped Quinn's team from getting to the top grid, and at FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1 they stopped them from entering the playoffs. In six maps, the Gladiators didn't manage to win a single one. Before the BLAST Slam I Grand Final, it's not great stats, but Watson and his team will be looking to break that awful run in their head-to-head meetings.
Expert Betting Tips
Tundra Esports annihilated Gaimin Gladiators on six straight maps. The Gladiators just couldn't get a grip. Even though Watson and his team did well in Copenhagen, they're still not going to be able to win the BLAST Slam II title. Tundra Esports is a more balanced team that knows how to handle the Gladiators, and dyrachyo knows how his current opponents will do in the bo5 series. It's not looking like it'll be a grand final with all five maps, but there's a slight chance that Gaimin Gladiators could pick up one of the three. With the error from Tundra Esports in mind, here's our final prediction for this match.
Our picks:
CS 3:1 for 3.20
Maps H1 (-1.5) for 1.80
