Al Masry vs Pyramids Prediction: Both teams will be pleased with a point apiece

Al Masry will square off against Pyramids at the Borg El Arab Stadium on Monday. Both sides have been firing from all cylinders this season, and we expect nothing other than an open game with goals at both ends.

The Green Eagles pulled up a stunning win over Zamalek SC to maintain their unbeaten run this season. Al Masry drew the first blood just before the break and defended like a team to end their opponent's unbeaten run. Immediately after the win, Al Masry scored twice against Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup group game. 

Al Masry have picked up seven points from a combined nine, scoring three goals without conceding. 

The Green Eagles have made some impressive moves in the transfer market, and despite replacing most of their players, they looked unchanged in recent games.

Krunoslav Jurcic's men have won back-to-back games in the league after their stalemate at the start of the tournament. More recently, they returned from a goal down to score three times against National Bank of Egypt. This was after their (1-2) victory over ENPPI away from home. They have now scored in eight consecutive league matches and are one of the favorites to challenge for the title this season. 

Pyramids have picked up seven points from a combined nine and have not kept a clean sheet in three consecutive home matches.

Over their previous twenty meetings, Pyramids have won eight while Al Masry have recorded six victories and six games ending in a deadlock. The guests head here after their decent performance in the continental group game, scoring five against their opponents, the same as Al Masry, who found the back of the net twice against Enyimba Aba. 

Both sides have secured the same number of points in this campaign, and the hosts looked like a real deal. Pyramids are the better team here, but Al Masry will give them a run for their money. With the way both teams have played lately, I think a BTTS will surface here for 1.95.
