Athens Kallithea vs Levadiakos Prediction: Derby in the dangerous zone

Round 14 of the Greece Super League will be completed this Monday with a derby duel at the bottom of the table between Athens Kallithea and Levadiakos. These teams were promoted from the second league this season and are struggling to move away from the bottom of the table. Levadiakos have only a win so far, while Athens Kallithea still don’t know how it is to win a match in the best Greek football league.

Levadiakos are slightly better, they have 10 points in 12th position with a win, seven draws, five defeats, and a goal difference of 14:22. This team also struggles a lot in this league, and their first and only win so far, they got in November, against Volos 3:2. Levadiakos are the worst visitor in the league with 3 draws and 3 defeats in away matches. In their last five matches, they have a win, two draws, and two defeats. In the last round they were close to winning, but they conceded a late goal against Panetolikos at home, and the match ended in a draw 1:1.

A very difficult season for both newcomers to the league, and most likely at least one of them is going to be relegated in the end. Levadiakos have three wins in their last five encounters, but most of them were in the second league while in the first match in August, the result was 0:0. I think that this match will be very similar to that one, but this time I’m giving more chance for winning on Athens Kallithea as they are in better mood after last week’s draw against PAOK. This match won’t be too spectacular and I don’t expect to see many goals.
