Villarreal are losing every other match. The team is in 13th place in the Primera, and that, of course, is out of the question. Or will the guys go to the Champions League again via the Europa League? Although, what about the Champions League... Villarreal are nowhere near the level they showed last season. It’s as if the team has been cursed.

Villarreal lost to Athletic last Saturday. It’s certainly no disgrace, but the boys gave up three points to a direct rival. However, they’ve already handed out those points for the year ahead. There’s no point in seriously assessing Cadiz. The team is playing to survive. It’s not even about the standings, but with their bus football, there’s no other name for it. Maybe the team will somehow survive the endless draws and stay in the Primera, but the fight for a place in the elite is the maximum for the club.

Cadiz lost their last game to one of the weakest teams in La Liga. 0-2 against Alaves is very, very bad. The immediate question is if Alaves can beat Cadiz by two goals, why can’t Villarreal do the same in three days?
