Tabora United vs Kagera Sugar Prediction: We are banking on the visitors to at least get a point here

Tabora United will play their first home game of the season against Kagera Sugar at the Ali Hassan Stadium on Thursday. The hosts picked up their first three points of the campaign and will be determined to maintain the same momentum against their guests here.

After their (3-0) opening-day defeat, Tabora United came from a goal down to defeat Namungo on the road. Heritier Lulihoshi scored from the spot kick, while Salum Chuku doubled it in the 92nd minute to secure their first away win in a long time. 

The newly promoted side were one of the teams that remained in the league last season after winning the promotion/relegation round.

The home side began their league season with a disappointing defeat on their ground against Singida Black Stars, conceding once. The result was followed by another defeat against Young Africans at home. They have now conceded five goals while failing to find the back of the net this campaign. 

Kagera Sugar failed to maintain their momentum towards the end of last season and were forced to fight for survival. 

Kagera Sugar, who lost just twice on their ground last season, were just two points above the relegation zone. Kagera Sugar picked up thirty-four points from a possible ninety, scoring twenty-three while conceding thirty-two goals.

Kagera Sugar won once and drew against the hosts last season. Tabora had a great home record in the league last campaign and lost just three games on their ground, with one of their defeats against Kagera Sugar. More recently, Tabora United won on the road against Namungo, but we think Kagera Sugar are more experienced, and we are confident they’ll leave with a point at least.
