Sweden U20 vs Latvia U20 Prediction: Latvians will try to put up a fight against the Swedes

Sweden U20

The Swedish team performed well in the group stage. In four games, they scored nine points against Switzerland, Austria, and Germany (3:2, 6:0, and 4:2). However, they suffered one defeat. In the third match, the Swedes had to face the USA. The Swedish team played great hockey and had a chance to make it to overtime, but unfortunately, they had no luck. The result was a 2:3 defeat. 

Latvia U20

Not many people expected to see Latvia in the playoffs. They won their last game against the Czech Republic (4Ж2). In general, the Latvians were not lucky with the group - Canada, Finland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Still, they picked themselves up in time and earned a ticket to the next world championship round. It should be reminded that in the first game, the Latvian national team lost to the Finns (1:6), then to the Canadians (2:5), and the Slovaks by a shoot-out (2:3).

The Latvian team, despite a challenging group, performed well. The Latvians did not play their best against the Finns in the first game, but they managed to put up a good fight against the Canadians, the Slovaks, and the Czechs.
