Bath are the 2024/2025 European Challenge Cup rugby winners. The English side lifted the trophy at the Principality Stadium on May 23rd. This success is coming off after they have been declared the Premiership rugby cup 2025 champions in March. They are ready to bring the noise this Friday night, giving the feeling of a final before the finals. In their last match, they faced Saracens at StoneX Stadium, trailing the first 40 minutes by a score margin of 19-7 before they ended the match with a 36-26 score line. George Timmins made his debut for the Blue, Black, and White shirt in that match. After that match, they faced Lyon and recorded a great 37-12 win to advance to the semi-finals. Joe Cokanasiga recorded his 10th try of the season in the match against the Leicester Tigers. In that match, where he played the whole 80 minutes, he recorded 1 try, 111 metres made, 1 defender beaten, and 1 clean break. Tom Dunn won the performance of the match award. Bath won the match with a score of 43-15. Also, in that match, the Ojomoh and Cokanasiga combination was superb. Max Ojomoh timed the interception to perfection and left it to Cokanasiga to bring it home. This was the redemption they so desired. Before this match, they suffered a defeat to Bristol in the Premiership rugby league with a score of 36-14. They are in this competition as the favourites, and the reason for that isn't far-fetched.

Bath vs Bristol: Prediction

Bristol is a very formidable team with a solid offense. They have been to able to torment Bath so well that they have won over 60% of their last 20 encounters together. In cases in which Bath played at home, the spoils have been evenly distributed between both teams. However, in that record, Bath has not won back-to-back home games against this team. This makes this match very difficult to predict. I advise that bettors stay off picking a particular team to win, despite the bookies supporting Bath in thi,s which is a very likely result. The worry is that they have struggled against this team, and the last encounter last month didn't go their way. Bettor should take advantage of the score margin, but I will still side on Bath to win to get a very narrow, close margin win.
