Hurricanes had a strong performance in the quarterfinal of this playoff, securing a 47-20 win over Rebels. In the meantime, the Hurricanes have won each of their last games, defeating Moana Pasifika, Chiefs, and Highlanders in prior games. Into this game, the Hurricanes have lost just two of their previous 14 league games and will come into this game as favorites. 

Chiefs

Chiefs' last game was against Reds, and this team secured a 43-21 win in the quarterfinal action of the Super Rugby Pacific. However, prior games to that win saw Chiefs lose consecutive games to Blues and Hurricanes in games that ended 31-17 and 17-20. Heading into this game, the Chiefs boast of three wins in their last five, defeating Rebels and Moana Pasifika in other encounters.

Expert Betting Tips

Despite not living up to expectations this season, it is still tough to write them off completely here. Into this game, the Hurricanes have been excellent, and we can expect them to show character. Still, I feel the Chiefs have a chance here and should be able to cover the spread. Also, while the two teams are expected to focus on defensive play, a bet on a few points is another option to consider.
