The Grand Slams are the stage where we see the tennis world come together like no other tournaments and this is where champions are made. These coveted tournaments have been around for a long time as generations have witnessed some amazing talent. One of the Grand Slams, the Australian Open has produced many memories and has been around before the First World War to measure the tradition of this historic Open. In this game of the Australian Open, Aryna Sabalenka is going to take on Belinda Bencic in the Fourth Round.Claim Your Welcome Bonus!
Sabalenka comes into the match after defeating Elise Mertens 6-2, 6-3 to continue her amazing form. Saba’s return game was once again in full flow as she garnered a 28-15 receiving points advantage. She had some trouble connecting of her first serve with just 56% but when she connected on her serves, she had a 70%+ first and second serve win percent, which enabled her to get a 35-28 service points advantage. Saba is yet to drop a set and only Tereza Martincova has been able to win four games against her thus far. Aryna is in a great rhythm, making it to the Final round of the WTA Finals before losing to Caroline Garcia but she has beaten the top players regularly too.
Bencic enters the contest after a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Camila Giorgi in the Round of 32. She did a great job of breaking Camila’s serve, connecting on five out of ten break points while having a strong 34-24 receiving points advantage. Meanwhile, her service game was also rolling as she eked out a 40-33 points advantage. She is yet to drop a set but Claire Liu forced a tiebreaker in the second round. She came into the tournament after winning Adelaide International after overcoming a tough draw, involving Darya Kasatkina, Caroline Garcia, and Garbine Muguruza. However, she has been unable to make a deep run in Grand Slams lately, mainly getting out by the second round.
Aryna Sabalenka vs Belinda Bencic Head-to-Head
This is the third time these two will clash and the h2h is tied. They last clashed during Dubai Open back in 2019 where the Bencic win was garnered in a third-set tiebreaker.
Expert Betting Tips
The last time when these two met, the game went down to the wire, however, Aryna has been much better since that time while Bencic’s game has fallen a lot. Aryna has beaten elite players more often than Belinda. However, you can’t take a player like Belinda lightly and Aryna has learned well how to be prepared for high quality players. I favor Aryna’s chances here but this can go to the third set.
