Hopefully, I'll make it to the second week of the Slams more than once. I didn't expect to make it to the quarterfinals in New York. I'm glad I'm playing matches like this one.”

Alcaraz played the last few matches at a very high level, but the Spaniard beat Tsitsipas, the world's No.3, for a reason. However, the pressure on the young Iberian increases from round to round, and Carlos's strength has limits, and two 5-set matches will certainly affect the young Spaniard's energy.
