Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Alex De Minaur Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds │28 MARCH, 2022

One of the last 32 matches of the Miami Masters will be the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas against the Australian Alex De Minaur. They know each other well, they've played nine times on the tour, and just imagine, Alex couldn't win against Stefanos even once. It is logical that the Greek tennis player in the pair is quoted as the favorite.

Stefanos Tsitsipas failed in Indian Wells. He beat Sock in three sets, but dropped in the third round, losing in the same three games to Sock's compatriot, Brooksby. Tsitsipas skipped the first round of the Miami Masters, as he did in Indian Wells, as a seeded tennis player. In the second round of the Florida tournament, he met again with the U.S. representative, Jeffrey Wolf. The match against Wolf was a long one - more than two hours. Tsitsipas won the first set 6:4, but lost the second game on a tiebreak. The American's resources were not enough for the third set, Stefanos easily won the deciding game 6:1 in 31 minutes. Stefanos served 10 times on the court, making one double fault. He won 78% of the points on his first serve and 59% on his second. Stefanos's receiving stats were 28% on Wolf's first serve and 54% on his second.

After a successful Davis Cup round against the Hungarians when Alex brought his team two points, the Australian flew to California Masters in Indian Wells. De Minaur had three matches: he outplayed Millman and Paul, both in two games, but lost to Fritz. In Miami, Alex has played only one match so far against another compatriot, Thompson, and beat him in two games, 6:2, 6:3. De Minaur served once and did not commit any double faults. He won 78% of his first-serve points and 71% of his second. Alex also had excellent serves, winning 41% of his points and 67% of his second-serve. The way the game went and the statistics show that Thompson is a very comfortable opponent for De Minaur.

There is little doubt that Stefanos Tsitsipas might win. De Minaur is obviously in good shape, he has played six matches in three tournaments since his setback in Dubai, losing only once in Indian Wells to Taylor Fritz. I have a feeling De Minaur will fight the Greek in a protracted match.

Alex has not often beaten Tsitsipas, losing more often in a blowout. But now he has a good chance to fight the top Greek player and win the game.
