Jos Buttler reminded everyone of his T20 class with an unbeaten 64 as Manchester Originals secured a thumping 57-run victory over Northern Superchargers. Despite losing Phil Salt and Ben McKinney early, Buttler rebuilt with Rachin Ravindra (31 off 14) before stitching a dominant 69-run stand with Heinrich Klaasen (50* off 25). Their partnership propelled the Originals to 171/3.
The Superchargers’ reply never got going as Josh Tongue’s early double blow removed Zak Crawley and Michael Pepper. Harry Brook fell cheaply before David Miller’s 38 offered brief resistance. Tongue (3 wickets) and Sonny Baker, who closed the match with a stunning hat-trick, bundled the Superchargers out for 114.

Livingstone lifts Phoenix to second straight win
At Edgbaston, Liam Livingstone played the finisher’s role to perfection, sealing Birmingham Phoenix’s seven-wicket win over London Spirit with an unbeaten 45 off 20 balls, capped by a huge six to close the chase.
London Spirit, asked to bat, faltered early as Jamie Smith fell for a duck and David Warner for nine. Kane Williamson (33) steadied the innings, guiding them to 126/6.
Phoenix lost both openers cheaply but Joe Clarke’s fluent 54 set the platform before Livingstone’s fireworks completed the job with 35 balls to spare.
Our seamers were phenomenal. They didn’t miss a yorker at the end, and Joe [Clarke] set the tempo beautifully.

Spirit Women crush Phoenix with record win
London Spirit produced the largest margin of victory in Women’s Hundred history, thrashing Birmingham Phoenix by 88 runs. Kira Chathli starred with a blistering 69 from 35 balls, supported by Grace Harris’ 34 as Spirit piled up 164/6. Phoenix never recovered from early blows by Emily Arlott (3 wickets), crumbling to 76 all out.
That’s definitely my best performance in The Hundred. Once you settle in, it gets easier, and the key is backing each other as a team.

Dottin inspires Originals Women to narrow win
Deandra Dottin’s unbeaten 51 proved decisive as Manchester Originals edged Northern Superchargers by five runs in a tense finish. Kate Cross struck early with two wickets, but Originals laboured to 117/5. Dottin’s late charge lifted them to a competitive total.
Superchargers looked in control with Phoebe Litchfield (31) and Alice Davidson-Richards (29) adding 64 runs, but their dismissals triggered a collapse. Amelia Kerr and Sophie Ecclestone shared four wickets before Lauren Filer held her nerve in the final set, sealing victory.
