Electing to bowl, Chris Jordan struck first ball to remove Ben Duckett, while Jofra Archer (2-16) and Michael Bracewell (3-16) dismantled the Phoenix line-up. Only Joe Clarke (36 off 27) offered resistance as Phoenix stuttered to 106-7.

In reply, James Vince (41) and Leus du Plooy (32) gave Brave a solid platform before Jason Roy (18*) sealed the win with 19 balls to spare.
Rockets Hold Nerve in Tight Trent Bridge Clash
Trent Rockets made it two from two, overcoming Northern Superchargers by five wickets in front of 13,497 home fans.
Spinners Akeal Hosein (2-28) and Rehan Ahmed (2-23) applied the squeeze before Marcus Stoinis (2-0) struck twice in two balls to halt the Superchargers’ momentum. Harry Brook (45) and Graham Clarke (36) were the visitors’ mainstay in a total of 128-9.
Imad Wasim’s double strike kept Rockets in check during the chase, but Stoinis and Adam Hose guided them home with four balls to spare.

Wyatt-Hodge, Bell Steer Brave Women to Victory
Southern Brave Women edged Birmingham Phoenix by 15 runs after Danni Wyatt-Hodge’s fluent 59 laid the foundation for a total of 139. Phoenix fought back late through Megan Schutt (2-23) and Em Arlott (2-19), restricting Brave to just 19 runs from the last 15 balls.
Phoenix’s chase faltered after early wickets. Ellyse Perry (26) and Sterre Kalis (32) kept hopes alive, but Lauren Bell’s 3-17, supported by Sophie Devine (2-28) and Tilly Corteen-Coleman (2-16), closed out the win.
Perrin’s Breakout Innings Lifts Superchargers Women
Eighteen-year-old Davina Perrin smashed a career-best 70 from 42 balls to power Northern Superchargers to the top of the table with a convincing win over Trent Rockets.
Chasing 129, Perrin dominated an opening stand of 62 with Alice Davidson-Richards before Phoebe Litchfield (22 off 10) and Annabel Sutherland (18 off 11) finished the job in style.
Earlier, Ash Gardner’s 61 was the lone highlight for Rockets as they slipped to 5-3 early and never recovered, posting 128 in a sunlit Trent Bridge clash.
