India will open their campaign in next year's ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 against the United States on February 8 at Ahmedabad and will play archrivals Pakistan at Colombo on February 15, Telecom Asia Sport learned on Friday.
The 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be held in February and March 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. Telecom Asia Sport has learned India's schedule for the mega event a few days before the ICC is set to announce it.
India will start against the USA at Ahmedabad on 8th February and will follow that up with a match against Namibia in New Delhi on 12th February, versus Pakistan at Colombo on the 15th, and end their group stage engagements with a match against the Netherlands in Mumbai on February 18:
The first Super-8 stage match will be played on February 22 at Ahmedabad, followed by the second game at Chennai on February 26, and the third on March 1 at Kolkata. The first semifinal will be played in Mumbai on March 5, while Ahmedabad will host the final on March 8.
