Wizcraft Entertainment Agency, one of India’s most prominent event management companies, has officially denied any involvement in organising Lionel Messi’s GOAT India Tour 2025, despite earlier media reports linking the firm to the high-profile event.

In a public notice circulated across social media, the agency stated:
Wizcraft is not organizing or managing Messi’s GOAT India Tour 2025. Wishing the tour all the very best.

The four-city tour, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi, is set to feature the Argentine World Cup-winning captain.

Reports in October Now Contradicted

Initial reports in October had suggested that Wizcraft was the executing agency for the event. However, the company’s fresh statement dated 26 November 2025 distances itself entirely from all operational responsibilities, including ticketing, security, licences and event planning.

Wizcraft added
We are grateful for your continued support and belief as Wizcraft strives to raise the standards of events and experiences in India and across the world.

Tour Continues Under Satadru Dutta Initiative

Despite the clarification, the GOAT Tour, branded as a Satadru Dutta Initiative, is scheduled to proceed as planned. Hyderabad has now been confirmed as an additional destination.

When contacted by Telecom Asia Sport (www.telecomasia.net), Dutta briefly said
He was in a meeting in Mumbai and did not comment on Wizcraft’s withdrawal.

Revised Four-City Schedule Announced

A reworked itinerary shows Messi beginning his tour in Kolkata on 13 December, followed by Hyderabad later that evening. He will then travel to Mumbai on 14 December and conclude the tour in New Delhi on 15 December.

Dutta had earlier indicated that the Hyderabad leg would be held either at Gachibowli Stadium or Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, featuring a celebrity match, football clinic, felicitation ceremony and musical programme.

Messi Confirms Hyderabad Stop

Messi himself shared his excitement via X on Thursday, posting:
Thanks for all the love from India! The GOAT Tour kicks off in a few weeks’ time! I am happy to share that Hyderabad has been added to my visits to Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. See you soon India.

The tour has seen strong ticket demand online and promises a mix of celebrity football matches, musical events, meet-and-greet sessions, children’s masterclasses, and felicitation ceremonies across the four cities.
