Hashmatullah Shahidi may lament at the batsmen for their shabby show in the last game when they could not chase a easily chaseable total on a good batting strip. Afghanistan had been on some sort of roll with some consistent results in the last couple of games, and the conditions in UAE are likely to suit them. Shahidi was positive that his players would stage a good comeback to seal the series for him. The fireworks display will depend majorly on Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sediqullah Atal whereas Rahmat Shah, Azmatullah Omarzai, and Hashmatullah Shahidi shall come into prominence in the middle. Mohammad Nabi's good form would add speedy runs and similar viability of run-scoring is also prominent at the lower middle order with Gulbadin Naib and Rashid Khan. Fazalhaq Farooqi and Allah Ghazanfar will have to avail quick breaks as Bangladesh's top order is real strong. Rashid Khan will play a massive role in the middle overs that will be supported by Mohammad Nabi. The bowling attack is further augmented by Gulbadin Naib, Azmatullah Omarzai, and Nangeyalia Kharote.

After the sorrow of losing eight successive ones and seven miserable weeks, Najmul Hossain Shanto's team was finally able to salvage something tonight. Even against all odds, the batting lineup came up, and Shanto hopes it will carry on to win the series for regaining lost pride. Tanzid Hasan and Soumya Sarkar were rock-solid at the top and the team hopes it will rise again to the good show of tonight. Shanto had set the example in the previous match, and he will again look to continue his form in the middle order with Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Towhid Hridoy. Mahmudullah, Jaker Ali, and Nasum Ahmed contributed really well in the lower middle order. The bowling attack was good in the last game, where Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam will look to get early wickets that would put them under constant pressure against the Afghan team. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mustafizur Rahman are going to be the key Over-aggressive bowlers who can make use of experience in middle overs. Nasum Ahmed and Mahmudullah have to execute his role to the core

Bangladesh have been inconsistent over the last two months. It is their batting that has suffered and Bangladesh hope to see some magic from the top and middle order today. Conversely, Afghanistan is in good form: it has a powerful spin attack and an aggressive batting line-up. Given their current form, Afghanistan is expected to win the match.
