In the run chase of 164 for victory, opener Saim Ayub performed fabulously with 82 off 71 balls, hit five fours and six sixes. His good support came from Abdullah Shafique, who made 64 off 69 balls and four boundaries and three sixes.

Bowling department will look forward to the pace quartet of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Hasnain for some valuable wickets for the side. In the last match, pace bowler Haris Rauf was in good rhythm as he took 5 wickets for 29 runs in eight overs. Pakistan seems likely to be the favourite for the final of the series against Australia, as their recent performances have been pretty good. Australia with a batting order almost inexperienced would need to get their game back right against a strong Pakistan's pace attack, and the chances are that Pakistan will hold their nerves to take the one-day series away from Perth at the end.
