Australia is all set to clash with Pakistan in the 1st T20i match, which will begin from 14th November at the Gabba. The two additional players that Australia has included in its team lately for the three-match T20I series are Nathan Ellis and Tim David. Going by the batting combination, lots of talking is going to be done through it, and most of the contribution is expected from Jake Fraser McGurk, Jos Inglis, Matthew Short, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, and Tim David. Jos Inglis, who batted so well with a century against Scotland at the beginning of the year, would look to keep on the momentum with the bat. In bowling, breakthroughs are likely to come from Spencer Johnson, Nathan Ellis, Sean Abbott, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa. Adam Zampa has been hot at the end, claiming 19 wickets in 12 innings since May 2024 at an economy rate of 6.97.

Matthew Short, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Josh Inglis (c & wk), Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Aaron Hardie, Tom David, Sean Abbott, Adam Zampa, Spencer Johnson, Nathan Ellis.

In batting department, the bulk of hope will be on the shoulders of Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Usman Khan, Agha Salman, Irfan Khan, and Arafat Minhas. The latter has been in exceptional form for Pakistan in T20 cricket since May 2024, scoring 265 runs in seven matches with an average of 44.10 with one half-century.

Bowlers to lead the bowling team: Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Abbas Afridi. Since May 2024, Haris Rauf has been exceptional, taking 12 wickets in six innings at an economy rate of 7.68.

Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan (c & wk), Usman Khan, Arafat Minhas, Agha Salman, Irfan Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Abbas Afridi.

Pakistan will see off Australia in their next match according to the existing trend after the performances. In the ODI series, the trio of Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Afridi have been constants. Management will look out for the carrying over of the form to the T20I series as well from the trio. Pakistan seems more likely to win the match against Australia and will possibly get an early lead in the T20I series with 1-0.
