The situation is getting tough for Brampton Wolves at the halfway stage of the competition. They started well in the campaign, winning convincingly against Surrey with enormous support from George Munse and Thomas Draca. But they lost the next two games against Toronto and Montreal respectively. It was only George Munse who came with some dependable batting display; the rest of the batting lineup let them down. Their fourth match was against Vancouver, which they did well in and won their second victory of the season.

Three on the trot have lifted Bangla Tigers Mississauga to the second position in the points table, behind reigning champions Montreal Tigers, only as a result of Net Run Rate. Defeated by 33 runs at the hands of Montreal Tigers, Bangla Tigers Mississauga recovered well to post victories against Vancouver, Toronto, and Surrey by 22 runs, 2 runs, and 4 wickets respectively.

The Toronto match was a very tight chase, with the bowlers winning it for them by the slender margin of 2 runs, thanks to Nicholas Kirton's fabulous knock of 74 off 54 balls. Shakib Al Hasan proved to be instrumental since he removed Kirton. In the previous game against Surrey, it was just a magnificent effort from the bowlers, especially David Wiese and Shoriful Islam, who restricted the opponents to just 101 runs, wherein 8 of their batters were sent back to the pavilion for single-digit scores. The chase was tight, but Bangla Tigers finally won the game by an over and 4 wickets in hand.

Though Bangla Tigers would have preferred a more convincing win to improve their Net Run Rate, the victory was satisfying. Armed with a good bowling attack and helpful conditions, there isn't anything that would suggest Bangla Tigers won't be able to walk out victorious in their next match against the Wolves.

The Bangla Tigers Mississauga have an enviable bowling attack to fall back on, along with some good performances from a few of their mainstays, such as David Wiese and Shakib Al Hasan. Both the teams have looked troubled with their batting, maybe due to the conditions at Brampton and more so because of the drop-in pitch. Considering the current form and bowling strength of the Bangla Tigers, we think that they would do better than the Brampton Wolves in the upcoming game. Our prediction for the game is that Bangla Tigers Mississauga will come out victorious against the Brampton Wolves.
