Bangladesh vs Afghanistan Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds │29 AUGUST, 2022

Afghanistan will take on Bangladesh in the third match of the Asia Cup group stage at Dubai International Stadium. Will Afghanistan create another upset and become the first team to qualify for Super fours?

Bangladesh is coming into the game after a 2-1 series loss to Zimbabwe. They were outclassed by Zimbabwe which is ranked below them in the standings. Bangladesh has won only two out of eight T20 competitions this year which will be a cause of worry for them. The Bengal tigers have gone to the finals of the last two competitions and they will be hoping to do the same this time. For that to happen they need to start the tournament well against Afghanistan.

Afghanistan shocked the world with their performance against Sri Lanka. They outclassed the favourites in all departments. The Afghans were able to restrict Lankans to only 105 runs in 20 overs which they chased down in only ten overs. Fazalhaq Farooqi was the pick of the bowlers with his astonishing figure of 11/3. The confidence of the team will be very high after the performance and they will be hoping to continue the same in their second and last game of the group stage.

The pitch will help the batters and bowles alike as we have seen from the first two games of the competition. The team to have the best temprament and patience will have an edge in the game. The last match between these two sides ended in an Afghan win and we expect a similar result in this game as well.

  • Team 2 Wins for 2.05;
  • Individual Total 1 Under 161.5 for 1.65;
  • Total Runs, Over Number 1 Under 5.5 for 1.73
