In their second match, Scotland beat them by 17 runs. They were able to manage 148 while chasing a target of 166. Kabua Morea and Chad Soper picked 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Norman Vanua was the top scorer with 47 runs. PNG have had good individual performances but have lacked a collective team effort which explains why they have not managed to win thus far. If they beat Bangladesh, they will most probably knock them out of the tournament and it would be a huge upset for Bangladesh.
