Namibia will face Sri Lanka in match number 4 in Group A in the preliminary round of the T20 world cup. This match will take place at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at 6 PM local time.

Sri Lanka missed out on a chance to qualify straight into the second round of the T20 world cup. They finished outside the Top 8 rankings at the cut off date due to which they have to participate in the first round, in order to qualify for the Super 12 stage. Sri Lanka has not been the world beater side they were back in 2014 when they won the T20 world cup. However, they still have a very good side which has a lot of youngsters. They will be led by Dasun Shanaka, he has been leading the side well in the recent past. Sri Lanka should be able to qualify to the Super 12 stage with ease as they are a top side.
Namibia
Namibia is currently ranked 19th in the ICC T20I rankings. They have really slim chances of making it to the Super 12 stage as they are a mediocre side, but they should not be underestimated. Namibia lost both their warm-up matches against Oman and Scotland. Craig Williams has been in good form with the bat and the team will be looking up to him in order to provide stability in the batting area. David Wiese will be the player to watch out for with the ball.

Sri Lanka is most likely to win this match. They are a very strong side when compared to Namibia and they should win this with ease. They are the favorites to qualify for the Super 12 stage and they can compete for a spot in the semi final as well.
