India is missing some of its key players in the tournament who have been rested. The young squad is not able to cope with the pressure they are facing in the tournament. Some captaincy mistakes from Pant cost the game for India in the second T20 at Orissa. India will be looking to get back into the series with a win but they need to play on top of their game. Ruturaj has not worked as an opener and the top-order batsman are not able to convert their start into something substantial. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been impressive in the first two games.

The team has done well to chase down both the targets given by the men in blue so far. David Miller, Rassie van der Dussen and Heinrich Klassen have played exceptionally well and scored all over the part at the expense of Indian bowlers. The Proteas will be looking to continue the same and wrap up the series.
