Namibia played excellently in their first five matches and won four out of those five. Still, now they have lost six games consecutively. They almost won against UAE but lost at the end. Top scorers of Namibia are Michael Van Lingen, JJ Smit, and Gerhard Erasmus, who have each scored 300 runs in this series. They have been a good match for the top order with Lingen scoring 40, 67, and 107 in the last games. Ruben Trumpelmann being unavailable has been a drawback for Namibia, but their spinners- Gerhard Erasmus, Bernard Scholtz, and Loftie Eaton-have been taking enough wickets. Ben Shikongo has shown glimpses of some promise with hardly any opportunities while Jan Frylinck's inability to hold up midway through a game has been a letdown to Namibia.

Michael van Lingen, JP Kotze(w), Jan Frylinck, Gerhard Erasmus(c), Malan Kruger, JJ Smit, Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton, Jan de Villiers, Bernard Scholtz, Jack Brassell, Tangeni Lungameni.

The United Arab Emirates have had some tight games in this league so far and won only one of the six matches played. Their incredible win against Namibia, where the team could chase 314 runs in the last over, was just one good moment in an otherwise poorer season for them. It was astonishing that a team which had not even crossed 100 runs earlier in the game was able to create history by pulling off a record-breaking chase, but they ensured that their hopes did not get any dimmer.

Despite such an excellent match, behind the failures of the UAE batsmen. Muhammad Waseem is an exception, but, on the bat, he has not been able to contribute much; no half-century has yet come his way. In the remaining matches, Basil Hameed and Rahul Chopra will have to step up to produce runs. Hameed has batted consistently and has amassed 182 runs in six games, whereas Chopra has scored 130 runs in the team total.

With bowling, Aayan Afzal Khan is one such bowler from UAE, who has picked up 7 wickets in 5 matches with an impressive economy rate and average, meanwhile, Junaid Siddique hasn't done much justice. Basil Hameed's skills also lie in the off-spinner, but he is failing to restrict opposition batters, giving away 174 runs in 37 overs during this competition.

In essence, UAE has not gone well in the league as their players have been ineffective with bat and ball also simultaneously.

Aryansh Sharma(w), Muhammad Waseem(c), Alishan Sharafu, Vishnu Sukumaran, Rahul Chopra, Aayan Afzal Khan, Basil Hameed, Ali Naseer, Rahul Bhatia, Junaid Siddique, Muhammad Jawadullah

Namibia seems to have got a bit off track as they try to regain their winning momentum. But coming back to a venue where they excel so often might turn out to be the trigger for them. Although UAE has won three matches here, they all came against different teams. So, we expect Namibia to win this match.
