The last 4 games of the ODI 5 match series were a fantastic showcasing of New Zealand’s great play. The team was at their best throughout the series, leaving no opportunity for India to gain a win. The White Ferns won the 4th game of the series and are on the lead unbeaten. Again, Amelia Kerr didn’t let the team down and remained on the field until the end of the innings, scoring 68 runs. Satterthwaite, Bates, and Sophie Devine also performed really well, contributing a good share of runs. The Kerr sisters earned a total of 5 wickets, giving a hard time to the opponents. Hayley Jansen and Frances Mackay scored 3 and 2 wickets, respectively. NZ is currently leading with zero losses which are enough to make them confident and eager to end the series with 5 uninterrupted wins.

India was not very lucky in the ODI 5 match series. The team tried very hard, and it showed, but they couldn’t create challenging circumstances for the opponent. The last match India lost was by 63 runs. However, batters Mithali Raj and Richa Ghosh did great in the field, scoring a total of 82 runs. The batters and the bowlers were also in search of a chance to weaken the White Ferns. Renuka Singh scored 2 wickets, along with Deepti, Gayakwad, and Meghna, each scoring 1. To gain a win, the Women in Blue need to put more effort, especially after suffering 4 continuous losses. They undoubtedly are capable, but a better game plan might help them finally defeat New Zealand.

  • Richa Ghosh
  • Gayakwad
  • Renuka Singh
  • Meghna Singh

New Zealand has been putting on an excellent performance in the field, depriving India of any chance to defeat them. New Zealand will be hopeful of ending the series for the last game, leaving India whitewashed, and their past performance increases the possibility of such a situation.
